Laboratory work at nass magnet may — as the title suggests — seem secretive to some employees. This raises the question: „What exactly does the laboratory at nass magnet do?“ We would like to take this opportunity to introduce the laboratory in a little more detail.

iMAGE welcomes Daniel Ullrich, to date the youngest shareholder in the 93-year history of Holding Kirchheim GmbH + Co. KG. Daniel, an enthusiastic wind instrument (horn) player in his spare time and great-great-grandson of the company‘s founder August Hofmann, is not all that young either, given that he has already finished school and is on the verge of beginning his studies at university. At this point, all he lacks is a place to study. Nonetheless, this dedicated young entrepreneur from Stuttgart has one in his sights and is working hard to achieve his dream.

The Board of Management sets great store by systematically maintaining and growing the nass magnet company culture, characterised as it is by cohesion, transparency and trust. To complement this, at the end of last year, a new role was created within the organisation: That of Mediator. The aim of this role is to accelerate resolution processes prone to conflict by means of a special kind of mediation, and thereby foster the company culture.

The Nasscot has arrived and since January 2018, it has been serving as the endearing distinguishing feature and official mascot of the company group nass magnet. This friendly, eye-catching mascot is well received and boosts our brand awareness and sense of community. Furthermore, our Nasscot conveys effective promotional messages, interacts with our target market and substantially softens the rather stiff image associated with a manufacturer of solenoid valve components.

From the 11th to the 14th July, the city of Veszprém in Hungary, located close to Lake Balaton, once again became an important centre for cultural events. This year was particularly special because the VeszprémFest was celebrating its 15th anniversary! To mark the occasion, many different national and international artists and famous musicians were once again in attendance for 2018. 

When we won the project for our customer Wabco – which will in future provide an annual turnover boost in the tens of millions for our company – it became clear that the space available at Eckenerstraße 4 – 6 would soon be too small to set up the necessary machines.

Motivated employees, impressed customers and satisfied management. In theory this all sounds very logical and even simple, but in practice it takes a lot to fulfil the basic prerequisite of attracting motivated staff to a company and keeping them there.

Family-run companies are the backbone of the German economy. Making up 90% of all German companies, they are the most important form of enterprise in Germany. They generate roughly half of all turnover in the country, employ more than 50% of all workers covered by social security and provide 80% of all training positions. They are simultaneously job creators and drivers of growth, both in times of crisis and economic boom.
